CD Of The Month:
Alabama;
When It All Goes South:
review by Billy the Redneck

A Southern-soaked, Dixie-loving ode that somehow avoids the love-it-or-leave-it cliches starts the new CD. This CD Has been described by RCA as: “Sixteen tunes long, a full year in the making and over budget.”
But the time and money are reflected in the music. Randy’s rich voice is smooth on the lyrics of “The Woman He Loves” and wraps around the radio-friendly ballad “Clear Across America Tonight.” The song, “Will You Marry Me,” is what nowadays seems to be a requisite in the repertoire of all country acts; it's like there must be love/wedding song on each CD but it dark horse song of the CD called, “I Can't Love You Any Less” that works much better as an ode to true love. There is an Alabama take on the music business, including the country music, in “Reinvent The Wheel,”
It' s the same ol' Alabama but in a new light. so they get 3 out of 4 cans.
